Just!Venice at the presentation of the photo book “Viaggio in Libia. I deserti" (A journey to Libia. The deserts)
A warm, friendly atmosphere for the presentation of the elegant book by photographer Luciano Monti, translated into English by Just!Venice (Compiano Editore). The event took place in the cozy Musikrooms music club in Treviso (17 December 2009).
Marco Compiano, the Director of Compiano Editore and Elisa Chironna, Marketing Manager, were among the audience hosted by Andrea Vettoretti and charmed by Luciano Monti’s tales. The photographer and author of the book commented each photograph with his simple, spontaneous narration, made of travel anecdotes and photography technique tips, which revealed how his love for Africa has eventually become photographic art in his attempt at capturing the ever changing
The next-to-last event of the interesting 2009 calendar offered by the Musikrooms Club definitely met the needs of a demanding audience, with a solid knowledge of photography technique, and those who hold Africa in their heart.
What does Andrea Vettoretti have in store for us? We will be waiting for the new calendar of events for 2010.
