Simultaneous interpreting

In simultaneous interpreting the interpreters listen to the speaker and interpret their words after a brief time lag, known as decalage.
Venues must be fitted with the necessary equipment: interpreters are sat in soundproof booths with headphones and microphones, with a clear view of the speaker (either directly or via a television screen)
Our simultaneous interpreters have in-depth knowledge of both source and target languages and excellent speaking skills; they keep constantly up to date  and study the area under discussion prior to the event, consulting the client to ensure that they are well prepared.
This technique is suitable for conferences with a large foreign audience or when there are several working languages.

Relay interpreting

Relay interpreting is a technique used in conferences when several target languages are involved. A source-language interpreter renders the message in a language common to the target-language interpreters who then render it in their own languages.
